Hi Guys, just a quick note to let you know what's been going on the last few days. Unfortunately Farid has had some problems in France and couldn't make 'Rock The Gatehouse' in Stafford on Thursday and Friday, it was really last minute we found out, so we thought as it was a battle of the bands type thing, the place would be full of up and coming young drummers so why not give one of them a try. We found our man in a guy called Chris Brown, a really level headed kid who had completely the right attitude. I must underline how much pressure he was under, we had about 15 minutes rehearsal with him in the afternoon before we played to the whole theatre after all the other bands while the other judges made up their minds. Chris did a really great job and saved our asses big time, and we had him back for Friday too. Me and Rob want to say a big thanks to him for helping us out, and we wish him all the best for the future (check out the pictures below). Also, well done to Pieces Of Hate, who won the final on Friday, an awesome band who know how to put on a show.
For this week at the NEC, we'll be using our old pal Karl Randall (Ex-Greg Ridley, Stray), we're off to rehearse tonight, then hopefully Farid should be back for the shows in Glasgow and Morecambe.
