Hi guys, nearly March already?! Anyway, there's been a lot going on so I thought I'd let you know what was happening.

So, my time with Waysted is over, it's not something I rushed into, it's been on my mind for quite a while (since I joined the band actually! Just kidding). We did a great show with Nazareth in Leeds on the 14th and it was totally cool, but certain demons still persist and I made my mind up the following morning. I've had loads of fun with the band, from all the bullshit that happened when I joined to record Back From The Dead to our last show a couple of weeks ago. As the mighty Waysted Webbywoman has said over on the Waysted Forum, things never stay the same for long in the camp and I have to agree, especially when it comes to guitarists! I've spoken to the other guys a lot over the last couple of weeks and they totally understand. They will obviously carry on and I know who they have lined up for the next few shows and he'll be great I'm sure (but it's not Paul Chapman or Michael Schenker!!). There are reasons for me leaving, but it's definitely not 'musical differences'. And I wish Fin, Pete and Paul all the best in the future.

I have a lot coming up with the Marshall Band, firstly up to Newcastle then out to Frankfurt for the Frankfurt Musik Messe. We're still waiting for the final mix of our album to come back from Moscow, maybe Sasha the engineer is frozen in the studio or something, but I'm chasing it all the time. The main problem at the moment is that Farid has a big tour with Trust on in France and can't make Newcastle or Frankfurt, which is a real shame but he'll be back for the rest of the shows this year. So, taking Farid's place will be my old pal Carl Randall who I played with in Greg Ridley's Humble Pie, and now plays with Del Bromham. He's a great drummer, Rob's played with him too and I look forward to playing with him again, and obviously knockin' back a few with him in Frankfurt.

There's more shows coming in soon, so keep 'em peeled here for the latest,

See ya'
