Well, here we are again, sorry it’s been so long!

Where shall we begin?!?!?! There’s a lot to catch up on…

Firstly, you should have all by now seen clips from, or have yourselves the Marshall DVD’s. The new amps are sounding great, and had a brilliant response at the last few shows of last year that we took them out on. Thanks for all the positive comments on the youtube page, it means a lot, and also thanks to the guys who’ve been leaving rather negative comments “Wah wah work is weak”, “He needs more personality” and something about my “Dog awful guitar” were my favourites. If you fancy a real laugh though, find these comments and check out these people’s videos. The “Dog awful guitar” guy murdering a Satriani song is a real treat!!! It's always interesting to watch the response when you do something as high profile as these DVD's have been, but the general feedback has been great, and for those who didn't enjoy it, ask for your money back (oh no wait, they were free weren't they!!)

We had a great time at Music Live in November, although our demo room felt like it was in the next town along, we had an awesome time on the main stage on the Saturday and it was really well attended too. Thanks to all of you who came along and also to Les and all the crew.
After Music Live we had a few more shows to do, Harlow, Peterborough, Liverpool and Birmingham. All the shows were great and as well as taking out the new Vintage Modern, we also took the JVM out too. I’ve been doing these shows for around 8 years now for Marshall and these are definitely 2 of the best amps ever made. You’ve got to try them out for yourselves!!

Towards the end of the year I filmed what is to be DVD 3 for Marshall, unfortunately no band this time, just me doing a bit of breakdown. The good news is though, that it will also feature 2 very well known guitar players who’s signature amps this DVD is about. Should be going out with the mags towards the end of this month I think.

So, we’re currently having our ‘beginning of the year break’, which is cool after such a busy year last year, and it’s nice to be home with the family for a while. Obviously, I can’t wait to get out and play but I’m enjoying the rest while I can. The first lot of confirmed dates will be posted on the tour dates page in the next couple of weeks, consisting of the usual annual shows (Frankfurt Musik Messe, London Guitar Show etc.) and more will follow as they’re confirmed.

The biggest news by far though is that after waiting for around 18 months, we finally got our recordings back from Moscow just before Christmas. It came out of the blue after actually getting a response from our contact out there, and was very strange listening to it back after such a long time, some of the songs we’ve never played together since then so it was a real surprise for us. There’s still a couple of more songs to record in the next month or so and then we should be ready to go. It’s going to be called, quite simply ‘CGB’ and March 5th is the date so we’re getting our skates on for sure. If you’ve listened to the new sound clips on the site, you’ll have an idea what it’s all about. The song ‘Into The Underworld’ is actually around 7 minutes long, so the sound clips only scratch the surface, there’s lots of cool stuff in there. The album will be made up of all original material (some you’ll be familiar with if you’ve seen the Marshall DVD’s) apart from, yes you guessed it, the full length version of Voodoo Chile (possibly taken from Music Live, we’re waiting on that one).

See ya’
